Why Grace is the right fit:
Brian and I started looking for a new church when we moved back to Iowa from Nebraska. The only family we have here are the new people we have met at church here at Grace. We walked in one Sunday and were greeted by many, Hello, how are you, are new to Grace? It wasn’t just one person it was many as we walked into church. Many know our name now and the hello, how are you continue.
We tried 3-4 churches before we chose Grace. They were all very nice but Grace had a sewing group that interested me and now every Thursday I help with the Lutheran World Relief in making quilts and twice yearly I enjoy helping with the personal care kits and baby care kits. It has filled a void I needed in finding friends. I still have room, for and am still searching for friends to go to the movies and play cards. I am sure in time I will fill that spot too.
Brian has now become a member of the church council and enjoys coming on Thursday’s to volunteer, he helps with small jobs around the church.
If you have a need for camaraderie, come to Grace to find it. We have enjoyed becoming a part of Grace Lutheran Church.
